بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

به نام خداوند رحمتگر مهربان

 

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ ﴿۱﴾

ما به تو كوثر (خير و بركت فراوان) عطا كرديم

 

QARIB: indeed, we have given you (prophet muhammad) the abundance (al kawthar: river, its pool and springs).

SHAKIR: surely we have given you kausar,

PICKTHAL: lo! we have given thee abundance;

YUSUFALI: to thee have we granted the fount (of abundance).

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ ﴿۲﴾

اكنون كه چنين است براي پروردگارت نماز بخوان و قرباني كن.

 

QARIB: so pray to your lord and sacrifice.

SHAKIR: therefore pray to your lord and make a sacrifice

PICKTHAL: so pray unto thy lord, and sacrifice.

YUSUFALI: therefore to thy lord turn in prayer and sacrifice.

إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ ﴿۳﴾

مسلما دشمن تو ابتر و بلا عقب است.

 

QARIB: surely, he who hates you, he is the most severed.

SHAKIR: surely your enemy is the one who shall be without posterity,

PICKTHAL: lo! it is thy insulter (and not thou) who is without posterity.

YUSUFALI: for he who hateth thee, he will be cut off (from future hope).
